We Raised $1,215

Our park was closed due to Covid restrictions, so we were not able to host the Mad Hatter which is our annual fundraiser for San Benito County Child Protective Services.

However we were able to accept online donations and because of members like you, there is an unrestricted account for the kids in foster care.

Below is the thank you note we received from Joshua:

On behalf of the Agency, I want to thank the Hollister Hills Foundations for their ongoing financial support for our children involved in the foster care system.  Here are some examples of what those funds have been used for.

  • Paying registrations to participate in sports like football, cheer, and baseball.
  • Purchasing musical instruments for youth who participate in music programs include band through their school.
  • Assisting children with seeing family members who reside far away
  • Purchasing food for children when needed
  • Purchasing eye glasses for children when needed
  • Purchasing masks for infant breathing treatments
  • Purchasing prizes for children who participate in kids at the parks
  • Purchasing items that children need while in foster care

Thank you again for all you do.  We so very much appreciate it.

Joshua Mercier, Deputy Director

Children & Adult Services Division
